Organization settings

In the organization settings you can overview and manage the users and licenses of your organization. To get to the organization settings, open the profile menu on the bottom of the sidebar, click on Organization and select the organization.

Member roles in organizations

There are three type of roles that you can assign members in your organization:

  • Members are users within your organization. They can create and work on projects and standards when they have a corresponding license assigned.

  • Guests are external users that can get a license from your organization to collaborate on projects.

  • Admins manage the users and licenses of the organization. They can invite and remove members and assign them roles and licenses. This role can be assigned to IT staff without licenses or ordinary members with licenses.

Invite users to organization

Automatic invite via email domain

When we create the organization for you, we also store the email domain of your company (e.g., @lastbim.com). All users that register with an email ending on that domain, are then automatically invited to the organization.

You can view the stored email domain in the organization settings directly beneath the organization name.

Manually invite via email

If you want to invite users with a different email to your organization you can do that manually. To do this, go to the organization settings and click on Invite Members (DE: Lade Mitglieder ein) on the top right corner.

Enter the email and select a role that you want to assign to the user.

💡 You can invite multiple members at once by confirming each email with enter and typing the next email. Alternatively you can also copy & paste a comma seperated list of emails.

Assign Licenses to Users

Open the organization settings and go to the member that you want to assign a license to. Select the license in the last column. You see in the dropdown how many of which licenses are free.

Transferring licenses between users

To return a used license, open the license dropdown menu of the member who currently holds the license. Then click on the license that you want to give to the other member to return it or click on “Remove Licenses” to return all licenses from the user.

Afterwards you can assign this license to the other member.

Viewing Available and Used Licenses

To check how many licenses you have left, simply take a look at the top card on your organization page.
